NLT Management Services was born out of the deep-rooted desire to develop companies that holds fast to our age-old tribal values of giving our best, working our hardest and caring for our community. NLT is dedicated to exceeding the needs and expectations of our customers while caring for and supporting our workforce.
NLT Management Services, LLC was established in 2008 to broaden the government services and economic horizons of the tribe without compromising age old spiritual values. To date, NLT has provided: medical staff to eight military installations; administrative management and facilities support services to private and non-profit clients; forensic science staff to five federal forensic labs (including the country’s largest fire research lab); upgraded and maintained the fire notification/emergency notification systems at Arlington National Cemetery; supported Safety and Mission Assurance for manned space flight operations at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, provided system engineering support to the Small Business Administration and transportation security officers for the Transportation Security Administration’s Screening Partnership Program.
Tanya Norwood has served as the CEO of NLT Management Services since its founding in 2008. Prior to the formation of NLTMS, she served as Chief Operations Officer for a New Jersey based social services agency serving disenfranchised youth and adults of Mercer County for over 20 years. She is a citizen of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Tribal Nation, serving as the Tribe's Alternate Delegate to the National Congress of American Indians. Tanya served as Advisor to the Tribal Youth Council for over a decade. She also served as the Tribal Liaison to the US Census Bureau for both the 2010 and 2020 Censuses.
She is the 1st Lady, an ordained Deacon, and Director of Christian Education at Ujima Village Christian Church in Ewing NJ. She is a recipient of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) Women of Distinction Award and is listed in the 2015 Continental Who's Who for her professional business accomplishments. Her aim is Servant Leadership.
Mr. Watkins is a NASA retiree with a 30 year career at NASA Johnson Space Center. He is the former NASA Johnson Space Center Deputy Director of Safety and Mission Assurance and previously served as Chief of the Quality and Flight Equipment Division in the Safety and Mission Assurance Directorate.
After retiring in 2015, Mr. Watkins began working for NLT Management Services, LLC as the Director of Strategic Planning and Operations and now supports Red Cedar Solutions, LLC providing the same function.
Mr. Watkins graduated from Albany State University in 1980, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a minor in Physics and Computer Science. He and his wife, Connie, have two children, Chandra and Vincent James.
Miss Trinity Norwood has over 10 years of administrative experience including professional human resources experience. As a member of SHRM, she has worked as the site Accounting Administrator for Power Wellness Health and Fitness Company, served as Executive Assistant to the Virtua Health Center Manager, and is currently the Chief Administrative Officer for the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Tribal Nation family of companies of which NLT Management Services is a part. Miss Norwood is a trained mediator and provides human resources management and oversight for the family of tribal companies. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to recruitment for position across the country, DOL compliance requirements in all states/jurisdictions where we serve, establishing employee policies and annual handbook review and editing, maintaining on-line HR portal, payroll review and processing, performance management and compensation reviews, mediating employee concerns and complaints as well as ensuring compliance to and/or reporting of company hiring activity and practices for veterans, minority groups, disabled and other under-served populations. Miss Norwood also volunteers and supports Ujima Ministries, Inc, a non-profit Social Services Agency that has provided job-readiness and employment preparedness classes and activities to New Jersey youth as well as adult welfare recipients.
Mr. Rodgers is a retired US Air Force Fleet Manager/Superintendent with extensive experience managing military and civilian personnel in 10 work centers and 11 facilities on the largest Air Force installation in the world.
Since retiring from the military, Mr. Rodgers has managed 20+ federal contracts providing expertise in matters related to the performance of government contracting for multiple agencies (NASA, ATF, Army, Air Force, Navy and Bureau of Indian Affairs) and all contract types (FFP, Cost Plus, T&M, etc.).
Mrs. Clarke has 20+ years of Federal Contracting experience supporting various agencies such as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Army, Air Force, and more. She is a project management professional and a graduate of the University of Houston where she received a degree in communications. Ms. Clarke has extensive experience in business development, marketing, contract/task order management, proposal development, technical writing and working with executive leadership on strategic projects to implement organizational change.
Bernard Hall joined NLT in 2016 and has experience as a program manager on various federal contract with agencies including SBA, TSA, DHS-CIO, FEMA and ATF. He has more than 30 years of military and federal law enforcement career experience. Specifically, eight years in the US Marine Corp and 25 years with the United States Secret Service. While employed with the United States Secret Service, Mr. Hall held various advanced law enforcement leadership positions including Commanding Officer of the Counter Sniper Team, Watch Commander of the White House, and Team Leader on the Emergency Response Team. Mr. Hall holds a master’s degree in Security and Safety Leadership and a bachelor’s degree in Police Science from The George Washington University.
Mr. Branum is the Program Manager on the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) Center Safety and Fire Operations (CSFO) contract. Mr. Branum is a 37-year career occupational safety, health, and environmental professional. He joined the present JSC CSFO contract in 2003 as a Safety/Construction Engineer but has also held positions as Test Safety Officer, Occupational Safety Trainer and Deputy Program Manager. Prior to JSC Mr. Branum has held safety professional positions within the medical device manufacturing, healthcare, fire service and petrochemical industries. He held the position of Safety Director for the City of Houston Fire Department, the fourth largest fire department in the United States, for six years between 1991 and 1997. Mr. Branum earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Louisiana State University in 1985 and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management from the University of Houston at Clear Lake in 1995. He has been recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) since 1996.
